Corrections & removal requests
CompanySight republishes company accounts filed at Companies House under the Open Government Licence. We reproduce the figures as filed and never estimate revenue or profit. Even so, filings can be mis-tagged or misread, and we want to fix mistakes quickly.
How to reach us
Email corrections@example.com with:
- the company number and the page URL;
- which figure or statement you believe is wrong, and the period it relates to;
- if you represent the company, your role (we may ask for verification).
We aim to respond within 5 working days. If the underlying filing is wrong, the company may also need to file amended accounts with Companies House.
What we publish — and what we don’t
- Company-level data only: name, number, status, industry, town/region and filed financial figures.
- We do not show directors’ names, home addresses or other personal details.
- Flags (e.g. “Small team”, “Capital-light”) and any ease-of-entry indicators are automated estimates and opinions derived from filed figures — not statements of fact about a company or its conduct.
- Balance-sheet “signals” are indirect indicators and are never presented as revenue or profit.
